Scene 5 - NATURE DOES NOT JUDGE
Fröjel, Gotland
(An open field near Rebeckas childhood home. An old tractor path and a small stone wall runs across it. The forest on the far side. A cold winter’s day.)
Flakes, falling like flowers from the sky. Inaudibly softening the landscape and slowly turning the field into a mattress.
After passing through the Woods, the path opens up into a big field, and the sky presents itself again. And just as we are walking out from underneath the trees, it starts to snow.
And I come to myself.
Nature does not judge. It does not have any intentions or hidden agendas. It never tries to manipulate or lie. It just is. It is a constant of truth. Always in renewal of itself. Always creating itself. Again and again. Eternally young and persistently forgiving.

145 recenters the narrative to the place where I left off with Dagmars Piano. Gotland. Our island in the Baltic Sea outside of Sweden's east coast and more specifically, Fröjel. A small community on the west coast of Gotland, inhabited by close to 400 people. This is the place where my girlfriend Rebecka grew up.
In Fröjel, there is a walking trail, locally referred to as “Etthundrafyrtiofemman”. Or “the one hundred and forty five” in English. The trail is surrounded by the nearby fields and forests of Fröjel. On a cold winters day me and Bosse, my Rhodesian Ridgeback, went for a walk around Etthundrafyrtiofemman. Resulting in the scene above.
With 145 I want to invite you to share this experience with me. To stop for a minute and breathe in the forgiveness of nature. To be aware of the truth surrounding you. And to realise that you are a part of an ongoing creation. Here and now.
